Azaderm Cleanser contains 10% azelaic acid.
Azelaic acid relieves the symptoms of comedogenic acne, inflammatory acne and rosacea after local application.
Specifically, it has the following actions:

It normalizes the keratinization process in the pilosebaceous follicle.
Disruption of this process may cause comedones, inflammatory papules and pustules.
• Antibacterial
It reduces the intra-follicular colonization of Propionibacterium acnes in 8 weeks.
• Anti-inflammatory
It soothes the inflammation of the skin surrounding the follicle.
